~~Peter M. Junkins, 69, of Summerville, husband of Robey D. Junkins, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Roper Hospital, Charleston, SC.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm at St. Andrews-in-the-Pines, Peachtree City, Georgia.
Mr. Junkins was born June 17, 1946 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of the late Myron and Henrietta Junkins. He served in the United States Navy. He was a USA Swimming Official and was affiliated with Georgia L.S.C. He worked as senior analyst with Delta Air Lines for 32 years. He later worked with World Airways in Atlanta and S.A.I.C. in Charleston.
Surviving in addition to his wife are: four daughters and one son: Lisa Thomas of Wheaton, IL, Eric Junkins of Mooresville, NC, Traci Eiler of Newnan, GA, Kara Junkins of Oakbrook Terrace, IL and Danielle Bartlett of Bozeman, MN, six grandchildren: Kyra and Kaitlyn Thomas, Jack and Ellie Junkins, Kylie and Gavin Eiler.
