~~Robert G. “Robbie” Sumersett, Jr., 63, of Summerville and husband of Nancy Sumersett, entered into eternal rest on the morning of February 6, 2016.
Robbie was born on January 24, 1953 in Fort Bragg, NC, the son of Doris Sumersett Jennings of Summerville and the late Robert G. Sumersett, Sr. Robbie graduated from Summerville High School and attended Spartanburg Junior College and the College of Charleston. He was well known in the automobile business. His hobbies were building classic motorcycles, classic cars, riding and training quarter horses and surfing.
Robbie is survived by his wife, Nancy of 20 years, three sons, Ryan Sumersett and his wife Erin of Moncks Corner, Josh Sumersett and his wife Danni of Camp Lejuene, NC, and Arlen Sumersett of the home. He is also survived by his mother, Doris Jennings, sister, Toni Ramon and her husband Louis, brother Mark Sumersett and four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by “Big Dad” and his father, Robert G. Sumersett, Sr.
A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Faith Assembly of God, Summerville, SC.
