~~Sam Anthony Delia, Sr., 97, of Charleston, passed away Friday morning, July 15, 2016 at Trident Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Heritage Holiness Church, 3836 Ladson Road, Ladson.
Mr. Delia was born July 29, 1918, son of the late Antonio and Domenica Gati Delia. He attended schools in Cleveland, Ohio and was a 4 year veteran of the United States Army, serving in WWII. He retired as a construction estimator. He enjoyed volunteering at Trident Medical Center and was a member of Heritage Holiness Church.
Surviving are: son, Sam Delia, Jr. of Summerville, four daughters, Mamie Kourcklas of Port Charlotte, Florida, Terry Grecol of Parma Heights, Ohio, Mary Lou D’Agostino of Brecksville, Ohio and Sandra Holtz of North Royalton, Ohio, several grandchildren a
