Jason Woodrow Smiley Jr., age 75, of Summerville, SC, husband to Norma Smiley and retired superintendent for a electrical company, died Wednesday, February 15th, 2017 at home.
Memorial services will be private. Survivors include his wife, Norma Smiley, son, Gary Smiley of Summerville, SC, and daughter, Angela Smiley of Cottageville, SC. Also included are sisters, Ida Burris of Waynesville, NC, Ellie Smiley of Spartanburg, SC, brothers, Bobby Smiley, of Gaffney, SC, and Sammy Smiley of Waynesville, NC. Mr. Smiley is also survived by four grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren.
Jason was born on February 13th, 1942 in Waynesville, North Carolina. He was the son of Jason Woodrow Smiley Sr., and Gladys Freeman Smiley. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for many years as a superintendent of a electrical company.
