Catherine Ellis Reeves, 61, of Summerville, SC peacefully passed away on
March 9, 2017 surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Cathy had a vivacious sense of humor, always laughing and joking with her family and friends. She enjoyed reading, playing golf, backgammon by the pool and yahtzee get togethers with her awesome friends.
In her later years, her world revolved around her grandchildren. They were the light of her life! Cathy adored her family, they meant everything to her.
She is survived by her loving husband Eric W. Reeves, her beautiful children Sara E. Hubbard (Michael), Alison H. Baker (Joe), Trever W. Reeves, Linzi N. Reeves, her precious grandchildren Brody J. Baker, Patricia Rose E. Baker, her devoted mother Patricia P. Bates, her amazing sister Linda A. Bates (Jeff), as well as aunts, uncles and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her dear sister Susan G. Tierney and her father, Bruce E. Bates, who she looked up to like no other.
A private service will be held by the family.
