Mr. Ronald Edward Roberson, better known as “Robbie” died Saturday, May 20th, 2017. He is survived by his wife Bobbie, his two sons; Sean and his wife, Carolina, and Edwin. Also included are four granddaughters, Carla age 7, Camile, age 5, and the twins, Grace and Abigail, age 7. Mr. Roberson is also survived by his cousin, Hank Bitcher, and his wife, Gaye from Columbia, SC. Also included are daughters; Shirlee Crowson, Shireen Henson, and Debbie Throop.
Robbie was a Navy veteran and retired owner and operator of Capricorn Electronics. He belonged to S.I.V.A. along with his buddy Bill Waltly. They joined the Submariners at Perkins Restaurant every Wednesday for breakfast. They both also volunteered for Meals On Wheels.
He had a terrific sense of humor and will be missed by many. Robbie will be buried in his home town of Rocky Mount, NC, at Pineview Cemetery later this summer, but will have a memorial service on Sunday, June 25th, 2017 at 3PM in First Emmanuel Baptist Church - 10665 Dorchester Rd. Summerville, SC 29485.
