Billy Clay Ramsey, 83, of Summerville, husband of Pansy Craven Ramsey, passed away at the Village at Summerville on Saturday, February 10, 2018. 

 Family and friends are invited to attend Mr. Ramsey’s Memorial service at the Chapel at The Village at Summerville, 201 W. 9th North Street, Summerville on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 2 o’clock. 

 Mr. Ramsey was born September 9, 1934 in Elizabethtown, TN, son of the late Roy Lee Ramsey and Martha Russell Ramsey.  Mr. Ramsey started the Ramsey Manufacturing Company, Inc. in 1976 and is very proud that his legacy continues as the family business is still in operation today and being run by his son and daughter.  He served in the US Army.  He was a member of the Charleston Rifle Club and the Elks Club on Sam Rittenburg Hwy., Charleston.  He loved his family and they were always most important to him.  He will be sorely missed and loved by all who knew him. 

 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his honor to the Chapel at The Village at Summerville, 201 W. 9th North Street, Summerville, SC 29483 or the American Heart Association, 174 East Bay Street, Ste. 300 A-B, Charleston, SC 29401. 

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Pansy Craven Ramsey; two daughters and one son: Peggy Darleen Ramsey of Summerville, Jeffrey Eric Ramsey (Diane) of Summerville and Katherine (Katie) Dodds Secrest of Summerville, one grandson: Joshua Lohry and his special companion: his dog, Annie.
