Summerville-Danial James Mervine, 82, widower of Euphemia Mervine, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018.
Danial was born on May 16, 1936 in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late Conrad and Donna (Dilsaver) Mervine. Preceded in death by his wife, Euphemia; sisters, Betty Manis and Becky Brown.
He was a retired United States Navy veteran, serving over 20 years.
He is survived by his children, Barbara Barr of NC, Patricia Sharbor of VA, Danial L. (Valerie) Mervine of VA, Laura (John) Altizer of VA, William (Cindy) Mervine of VA, Ralph (Jacqui) Torrance of SC, Terri Kudsk of VA, Pete Mervine of SC, Lex Torrance of Scotland; 16 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The relatives and friends of Danial J. Mervine are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM Friday July 13th, 2018 in the Oakbrook Chapel at Tri-County Cremation Center, 11000 Dorchester Rd., Summerville.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 269 Calhoun St., Charleston, SC 29401.
