Charles “Bucky” Matt Dunsil, Jr., 62, of Summerville passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018.

Relatives and friends of Bucky are invited to attend his service at 10:00 o’clock am, Friday, August 17, 2018 in the Oakbrook Chapel at Tri-County Cremation Center, 11000 Dorchester Road. Online condolences may be made at www.tricountycremationcenter.com.

 Bucky was born in Summerville on January 18, 1956 to the late Charles M. Dunsil and the late Patricia Droze Dunsil. He attended Summerville High School and was a veteran of the US Army. A former machinist at Wheeler Industries, in his retirement he volunteered those skills to repair walkers and wheelchairs for the disabled. He was an avid NASCAR fan. An active member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, he faithfully handed out worship bulletins each Sunday morning before services.

Surviving are a son, (Charles) Matt Dunsil, III of Gainesville, GA; a brother, Jeffrey Dunsil of Bishopville; two aunts Betty Jo “BJ” Hunter (Jim) of Summerville and Peggy Borek (Jim) of Wake Forest, NC; an uncle Jimmy Droze (Sharon) of Summerville; a niece Jessica Dunsil of Harleyville; and a nephew Jeffrey Dunsil, Jr. of Harleyville; and many cousins. He was pre-deceased by his nephew Jeremy Dunsil and aunts Caroline Fulton, Bobbie Jean Ilderton, and Lois Alger.
