Rosemary (Smith) Wood, Goose Creek, widow of Milford Maynard Wood, U.S Army (Ret.) entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 9, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Rosemary was born February 16, 1939 in Canandaigua, New York, the daughter of the late Leo and Hilda Smith.
Rosemary and Milford were married for almost 64 years and is survived by their 5 children; Michael Wood of Canandaigua NY, Milford Wood Jr of Summerville SC, Donna (Gary) Grant of Shelby, NC, Shirley Riley of Goose Creek SC, and James Wood of Summerville SC. Rosemary is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Rosemary was a wonderful and caring Mother and Grandmother. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family. Her celebration of life will be a private family event.
