Mahalah M. Deviney, age 91, of Summerville, SC, died June 27th, 2017 at a local hospital.
Survivors include three daughters; Maria Papdopoulos of Athens, Greece, Stephanie Pastor of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Sara Maynor of Summerville, South Carolina. Also included are six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandhchildren. Predeceased by husband, Stephen J. Deviney.
Mahalah was born on September 16th, 1925 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mahalah McMullan.
Mahalah graduated from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She loved art, music, books, and traveling. A memorial service will be private.
