William W. Peterson "Bill" of Summerville, SC passed away, Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his residence. Bill was born in Albany, NY on 16 August 1943. He served in the army in the Vietnam War, and retired from Nucor. Bill was an ordained minister who deeply loved the Lord and shared his love with everyone he came in contact with. He taught Sunday school classes and always encouraged others. He worked at a gun shop for years building and repairing guns. He enjoyed hunting and fed his family from his hunting trips. He had his biggest hunts mounted in his living room for all to see. He was a wonderful man and will be sadly missed. The world was a better place with him in it and we were all better people because he was a part of our lives.
He was proceeded by his wife of 36 years, Diane Peterson. He leaves behind 3 step children, Roxanne Beal, Frankie Smith, and Sue Smith and five grandchildren Nicole Morris, Brennan Tousignant, Brittany Tousignant, Dianna Tousignant, and Russell Smith, and six great grand children. Services will be held at Tri-County Cremation Center on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 11 AM.
