Bonnie Jeanne Housh Maas, 68, of Ladson, widow of Kent Alan Maas, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday morning, September 9, 2015. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Crossroads Baptist Church, 505 Gahagan Road, Summerville with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 2:00pm. In mom’s honor, flowers will be accepted at the church or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Mrs. Maas was born January 13, 1947 in Swifton, Arkansas, daughter of the late Harvey and Juanita Housh. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, gardening and most of all spending time with her family. She worked as a comptroller for Wetterau. Surviving are: one son and two daughters: James N. Maas (Courtney) of Summerville, Kimberly A. Logsdon (Scott) of Virginia Beach, Va and Michelle L. Jones (Charles) of Summerville, 10 grandchildren: Amber Logsdon age 24 of Virginia Beach, Aaron Rajaniemi age 19 of Summerville, Justin Maas age 19 of Summerville, Katlyn Logsdon age 18 of Virginia Beach, Caitlin Vincent age 15 of Summerville, Bryan Maas age 14 of Summerville, Megan Gooding age 13 of Walterboro, Payton Logsdon age 11 of Virginia Beach, Reese Jones age 9 of Summerville and Nicholas Logsdon age 8 of Virginia Beach, brothers and sisters: Ken Housh (Suanne) of Arkansas, Gary Housh (Lorene) of South Carolina, Linda Higgins (Gerry) of South Carolina, Vickie Maxwell of Indiana and Janet Kincaid (Steve) of South Carolina, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by one sister: Donna Housh.
