~~Beverly Wilburn Rogers, Sr., 88, of Ridgeville, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 3401 West 5th North Street, Summerville from 3:00pm until 6:00pm.
Bev was the son of Beverly Wesley Rogers and Zelma Owens Rogers. He was born and raised in Ridgeville and lived in the family home until his death. Bev was a retired dairy farmer, like his father. He had a zest for life, a great sense of humor and was well- known among his friends and family for his “Hollywood” good looks and beautiful singing voice.
Surviving are: one daughter: Chilton Rogers of Raleigh, NC, one son: B.W. “Howie” Rogers of Summerville, one sister: Doris McLendon of Charleston.
He was predeceased by his sister: Grace Taylor.
