Dillon Robert Adams, 18, of Ladson passed away Monday evening, March 6, 2017. Dillon was born November 25, 1998 in Summerville, SC. Dillon attended Sangaree Schools and Cane Bay High School and eventually earned his GED. Dillon was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout until 2015 and worked jobs in fast food, selling electronics, and warehousing. Dillon loved to kayak, play paint ball, fish, and drive his Toyota 4x4 truck. If his truck wasn’t covered with mud he wasn’t happy! Dillon was a spectacular young man who was known for his “ginger” hair and beautiful smile, his unbelievable sense of humor, being a wonderful and loving son and brother, a great friend, and always helping those in need. Dillon never met a stranger. Dillon is survived by his parents Dawn Ayers Adams of Ladson, SC and Loren Dean Adams of Augusta, GA, his best friend and brother Dalton Adams of Ladson, sister Caitlin Adams and her two children of Green Cove Springs Florida, his grandfather Robert Ayers (PopPop) and aunt Sandie Ayers of Summerville, SC, his uncle Robert Ayers and his cousin Eden Ayers of Portland Maine, his step-mother Barbara Adams of Augusta, GA, his grandmother Connie Adams, aunts Raneigh Watts and Angel Adams, uncles Ronald Adams and Paul Adams and many other family members in Huntington, WV and Cape May, NJ. Dillon was met in heaven by his grandmother Barbara Ayers and grandfather Eddie Adams.
A celebration of Dillon’s life will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 @2PM, at Tri-City Baptist Church, 152 State Rd S-8-375, Moncks Corner, SC. The church will be open for flower deliveries starting at 12. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for the church’s Teen Summer Camp Program or we ask that you make a donation to the Boy Scouts of America or another organization that helps improve the lives of young people. Please feel free to bring pictures and memories of Dillon to share with others.
