Daniel “DJ” Reed Smith, 29, of Summerville passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018. A memorial service for Daniel will be held Saturday August 18, 2018 at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church of Jedburg located in Summerville, SC located at 121 Brewer Road Summerville, SC. The family will receive friends at 1:00pm at the Church prior to the service. Daniel, better known to everyone as “DJ” was born August 16, 1988 and was talented in many professions but most of all carpentry. He leaves behind his Son, Reed of Summerville, SC; his mother Lesia Melendez (Eric) and father Daniel E. Smith III (Kim); sisters, Brittany Smith (Mark), Lauren Smith (Kyle); nieces Alyssa, Harlee, Ansleigh, Alexis; his soon to be born nephew, Ryker; aunt, Tammy Crenshaw (William)and her Son Jackson; Grandparents Daniel Smith and Ellen Smith Jr. of Summerville, SC; and many Aunts, Uncles, family and friends. Daniel was preceded in Death by his Grandmother, Linda Sweat (Wilbur). Daniel had many friends and family and was loved by all so much and will be sorely missed by all.
