David William Lollis, 68, of Lexington, SC passed away suddenly in his home on Sunday, September 16, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am , Monday Sept 24,2018 at Calvary Springs Community Church 6635 Platt Springs Road Lexington, SC 29073.
David was born on January 8, 1950 in Danville, Virginia to Margaret Jane Moore and Frank Wilburn Lollis. David worked for many years in finance management and was also a long time member of the Jaycees. He loved sports, especially golf and football. His favorite team was the USC Gamecocks. He used to enjoy playing softball and football on community leagues. He spent his free time outside as much as possible. Recently he loved playing golf and spending time with his 2 grandchildren as much as he could. Even though he had physical ailments, he still gave strong hugs that came from the heart. He loved reading his Daily Bread books and sharing his smile and love for the Lord.
David is survived by his 2 daughters Michelle(Jim) Bowers of Mt Pleasant, SC and Niki Lollis (Justin) High of Rock Hill, SC; 2 grandchildren Jamison Bowers and Lyla Lollis, his siblings Steve (Karen) Lollis of Lexington SC, Marty Williams of Lexington SC, Donna Craft of Charleston SC, Russ Lollis of Tybee Island GA, Stan Lollis of Columbia SC and Kristy Taylor of Hendersonville NC along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and Ms. Mary Lou Depler.
