Linda Jean Stratton Meunier, 73, of Summerville, wife of Andy Meunier, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018. Linda was born October 21, 1945 in Proctor, Vermont, to the late Schuyler and Marceline Stratton. Linda was the second of eight children. She was predeceased by her older sister Margaret and younger brother Alfred. Linda had a heart for any child she met. She loved and cared for many children, whether they were friends, neighbors, while she worked with St. Paul's Children's Center and with the Good Shepherd School, while she was a Girl Scout Leader, but most especially for her two daughters, four granddaughters, son-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Linda is survived by her husband Andy, her daughters Tina Meunier and Marcy (Chris) Gossett, and granddaughters Julia Gossett, Morgan Gossett, Emma Plymel, and Olivia Plymel. Friends and Family are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday, November 14th at 10:30am at Journey Baptist, 8723 Salamander Rd, N. Charleston followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org/givenow. to help find a cure.
